Wonderfully Wacky and Baron Bob Presents - Unique and Unusual Gift Ideas

that waitress must lose her job

Talked to the roommate and it turns out the waitress from the other night changed the bill and charged the full amount of the bill and not the amount that she eff'd up and put on there. And get this, SHE INCLUDED THE TIP!!! I'm so calling the manager and ripping that bitch. I mean it's one thing to charge the regular amount (illegally albeit) but to include a tip for some of the shittiest service at a good restaurant. A drunk ass one legged bum with no hands coulda given better service than her. Damn, I'm pissed now.

holy valley bbq batman

Drivin back from happy hour night, this friggin valley smells like a bbq. Those fires are nuts, everythings covered in ash and it stinks. Burn Chatsworth, burn, take my high school with you on your way out fire, i hated it anyways

now tell me this, after having a good day and a good night, how do i come home and find some people i'm partying with on, and chat it up on myspace, then talk to a friend of a new friend finding a time to go out to dinner on some kind of date do i get hit up on thatspace.com from the ex claimin rights to one of my pics, she just keep poppin up and its buggin me. I spent 8 months drinking heavily, HEAVILY and another 2 years recovering to get her out of my head and finally do and was okay with meeting up with her at her request and feeling fine with it just so she can come up in my shit. ruins a good day ya know? back the fuck off, theres a reason we don't talk...lemme alone i thought was a permanent thing. I won't ever talk bad about her, but i'm not all that keen about talkin good right now. cut it.

I'm screaming for joy, no joke.

Excite News

Darwin will take care of her.

It was oyies bday yesterday (so he can chime in) and we went to Stanleys which is a pretty good restaurant in Sherman Oaks area. We order our food and right off we can tell the waitress isn't the brightest bulb in the lamp, I digress, we continue, but she had seemed to miss the basics in waitressing 101 and didn't offer us much and did very little to live up to the standard that we've come to expect from this establishment. She cleared two of our plates early and while the others were still eating she prematurely asked if we wanted the dessert menu and after quite a few missteps on her part (we were tolerant), Master Vic asked if she was in a hurry or something and she said "no, believe me you'd know when i was rushing you." now who says that? Sooooooooo, we finish eating, decline the dessert menu again, and she brings the bill and oyie pays it (yes, he pays it on his bday and we respect that). She brings back the credit receipt to sign and it showing the bill went from around $90 to $28. We know she missed the input of the correct amount and we all agree to let her know and dock her tip significantly cause she was either having a really shitty day and kharma was going to keep that going, or she was just an idiot. I'm leaning toward #2. She kept looking out of the kitchen area at us to see if we were gone and we were not as we were waiting for her to come over. She does this again and we all stared at her trying to get her attention, and nope. She then comes over to the table next to us does something with them and walks away quickly not even thinking to wonder why we're still there this long after settling the tab and not even acknowledging us, so that was strike 3 and we left paying for our $35 meal that she's gonna get docked for. We were never rude to her, but simply asked for basic things, like pepper, a proper salad tossing (yeah, yeah snicker, snicker), iced tea, that weren't met either very well or at all. She even lost out on the corking fee for the bottle we brought in. So do you think that was uncalled for? Deserved? I feel fine with it as in the post title, I think natural selection will prove that she won't be there long.

what... nobody else is writing either

After a long friday after a thursday that i drank way too much (whatever the hell soju is, I don't want any more of it) and felt like death on friday. (This is why I don't drink like that). Friday night we went and met up with Sasha, Yuko and the lovely Cindy and ate at Cha Cha Cha (always good paella). Then went to Tokyo fusion, which is some hipster bar with really young ladies and the cast of Jackass drinking. We were taking dares who could hit Bam Magera in the head with a bottle, but they were pretty calm. Left early and went to bed.Saturday was calm, took a nap and went to the lovely brents deli. Made a new shirt.

Sunday got up and met some buddies at a bar and watched the Raider game and drank coke, then went to Senor's house to play with the niece and nephew and got out of there before dinner as the prospect of a crab dinner didn't sound all that good. I'm gonna relax and watch a movie or something. Maybe do another shirt and go to bed early so I can go into work tomorrow and apologize for not coming in. Plus I have to say whats up to the girl i was talking to that i work with. How you doin. Don't remember much of the conversation tho, wish I did. Dumbass. Don't worry, i need no guilt. I guilted myself like crazy on Friday.

holy hot diggetty

Went and saw Bloc Party at the Palladium last night and a bunch of us met up and started drinkin as the buzz we had from the last time we saw them was building back up and we knew we were gonna be burning off calories. They came on, crowd took about half a song to get going and then everyone did. They did two encores, the second of which had everyone walking out before hand but we kinda chilled near the back and watched and sure enough they came back on and blew the shit back up. I don't know how many people were soaking wet from sweating or changing out side at their cars cause everyone was going hard and I woulda dared you not to move your body like you were at church catching snakes. I have no voice and there is a definite eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, buzzing in my ears whenever it's quiet. Good show, damn good show, we all met up at Palms for some good thai food afterward (no thai elvis tho)and now I have some yellow curry chicken for lunch that I'm looking forward to.

weekend festivites

We took off to San Fran this weekend. Got in about 1230am saturday morning and walked around and tried to find a beer but most places had just passed last call. I found a place at one of the apartment buildings (kinda like a hotel) where I work right near union sqaure. We walked quite a bit, and met up with Homer and her cousin Annie? (Anne, Anney? i dunno) then went to the Giants/Dodgers game (dodgers lost and barry didn't play)but the fans are much more civil than Dodger stadium. We partied with Tom Sizemores' attorney and another one that used to work for Cesar Chavez and they were cool as hell, gutbusting laughter whilst drinking stella artois outside of centerfield. We went back to MoMo's(bar) and drank a while longer where I met some random girl that wanted to make out, that was interesting, short lived but interesting. Saturday we wandered around town a bit, went to a closed china town and back to find a place that didn't have that good of food. (Daily Grill on Geary). Passed out and woke up at about 6:30 watched tv for a few and then went up on the roof (with a great freaking view) and read my book for a few hours until the guys woke up.

If you ever go up there, hit up Citizen Cake. We saw it on tv and decided we needed to go and were not disappointed in the least. Some of the best food and confections I've had in a long time. Everybite was as close to a religious experience I've ever had and upon eating some of the cookies when i got home, i decided it was better than religion. So check it, it's not expensive either. Thank you San Fran.

aight

I'll keep you posted but I may be doing that mild bondage flick i was telling you about, he just wants someone to be forceful (and clothed) on screen but nice with the girls off screen. I might do it. It'd be interesting and a bit of extra money, take that and go get some more ink done. I go for a face to face next week.

just a couple things

First thing, is someone went around on my desk and took parts of my paper, that I pay for, dammnit, not much cheeses me off more. They took my sports page before I got to read it. I almost knocked someone out when i caught them eating my lunch out of a community work fridge and that ultimately got me fired (long story) but man, not much pisses me off, but touch my newspaper or my food and I'll lose it a bit.

Now onto more obvious news:

Several Sept. 11 commission members said it looks like little has changed in federal disaster planning since the attacks on New York and the Pentagon. A Senate Republican, Susan Collins of Maine, said the Katrina response was plagued by confusion, communications failures and widespread lack of coordination - all of which should have been addressed by expensive post-Sept. 11 reforms.

This could be Bush's legacy. According to various independent polls:

-Two-thirds of the public think he could have done more to help Katrina's victims. More than half say he deserves blame for the slow response.

-Fewer than half say Bush has strong leadership qualities, down from 63 percent in October 2004.

-More than half say they don't trust Bush's judgment in a crisis.

And then there's Iraq.

Heres the kicker though:

Bush's challenge is to convince Americans that the war on terror, the war in Iraq and the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast can be tackled together. "I can do more than one thing at one time," he said defensively Tuesday.

Great he can chew bubble gum and walk at the same time. I think.

i have a growth on my ass, might be my brain

How do I have a spider bit on my arse? It is literally a pain, and itches a little bit. I inspected it (don't ask) and sho'nuff it looks like a spider bite. I can feel it sitting here right now. Now I just need volunteers to suck out the venom. Yeah sure okay, well now that I see you all lining up.

okay so i'm gonna get gross for a minute....

i wash my hands, alot, its a thing so don't ask. But while I was in the work bathroom, someone was in there doing their #2 business and it sounded like instead of wiping, it sounded like they were sanding a piece of oak. I mean, it's not a standard conversation, but culturally how many passes by the landing strip do people need to take(rhetorical ?), it really sounded odd, i mean doesn't the paper get dirty? ugh, I couldn't get out of there fast enough considering it smelled like a cesspool.

it's going to be a bloodshot eye day

My eyes are already burning, but thats cause I stayed up late and watched 6 episodes of Showtimes new show Weeds. Friggin good show. I laughed at a couple spots so hard i was shaking without making any noise, then the deep guttoral suck in for air. It's a bit dark but still a bit of an odd comedy. and one of the only things I've ever liked kevin nealon in. I caught up on all the episodes and then noticed that harry potter was on tv and started watching that. I smoked a bit too much of my medicine last night and was wired for once. But my eyeballs hurt like crazy and my new head of farmers market butter lettuce froze in the fridge and didn't taste too good, i was bummed.

let me take a moment

I'm coining the phrase SPOG, or spam blog. Pass it around and kill those that post them to blogs and comments.

holy crap can you believe this?

I don't consider myself neo liberal in the slightest but can you believe (someone I know?!?) posted this on myspace? i wanna put a fork in her eye. what decade is she living in?

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the
month of January. That's just one American city,
about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq.

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't
have started this war, state the following:

a. FDR led us into World War II.

b. Germany never attacked us; Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 112,500 per year.

c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea.
North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ...
an average of 18,334 per year.

d John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.

e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost .
an average of 5,800 per year.

f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three
times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on
multiple occasions.

g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush
has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled
al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and North
Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who
slaughtered 300,000 of his own people

The Democrats are complaining
about how long the war is taking.
But ..
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno
to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find
the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the
Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick

It took less time to take Iraq than it took
to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!
The Military morale is high!

The biased media hopes we are too ignorant
to realize the facts

But Wait . there's more!

JOHN GLENN (ON THE SENATE FLOOR)
Mon, 26 Jan 2004 11:13

Some people still don't understand why military personnel
do what they do for a living. This exchange between
Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum
is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive
impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one
man's explanation of why men and women in the armed
services do what they do for a living.

This IS a typical, though sad, example of what
some who have never served think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
"How can you run for Senate
when you've never held a real job?"

Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
"I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps.
I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions.
My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different
occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my
checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was
not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the
daily cash receipts to the bank."

"I ask you to go with me ... as I went the other day...
to a veteran's hospital and look those men ...
with their mangled bodies . in the eye, and tell THEM
they didn't hold a job!

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA
and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans
of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...
and you look those kids in the eye and tell them
that their DADS didn't hold a job.

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in
Arlington National Cemetery, where I have more friends
buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch
those waving flags

You stand there, and you think about this nation,
and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?

What about you?"

For those who don't remember ..
During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney
representing the Communist Party in the USA.

Now he's a Senator!

If you can read this, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English thank a Veteran.

@#$*&%

so it's days like this that make me want to own my own business and not have to deal with this crap. I was supposed to be off at 4:30, it's 5:40 and I'm not closer to finishing than i was at 4:30. If i'm going to stay and bust my arse then I want to bust it doing what i like doing. But right now it's a pain. I just wanna go home and ride the bike. eff this crap man. hopefully atleast the traffic will be easy on me with the later commute.

Goof fuckin thing, now he can go back to horses.

sunday got a bit better

I got to celebrate my brothers bday at moms and did in fact get good quality time with the niece and nephew however he inadvertantly hit me in the crotch a couple times, but we played like crazy. It was fun, I also denied my mom doing the dishes when she said that I should just load everything into the dishwasher knowing full well that no matter how i did that, she would scoff at my method so i told her that she could withhold her gestapo methods of dishwasher loading. So i continued cleaning them by hand. It got done, all were happy.

ehhhh

I fell asleep on the couch friday nite and woke up with a sore as hell back. I went to byrd's to visit with some of his friends from england and they were nice. I took the daughter to santa monica and walked around, then to melrose for more walking around then through hollywood to a premier taco stand in burbank. Conversation was at a premium. She was cool and navigated the ipod well, but was pretty jetlagged. I let her know other things to do while she was here but she was either quite out of it or dull.

I'm going over to moms today for the older siblings bday and the get in some good quality niece and nephew time. Have to get things wrapped and stuff picked up for ma and get some dvd labels done for senor. I'll keep you posted and I get to do laundry.

The weekend has been dull so far. Hopefully my football picks come through

fuckin aye

I need to get back on track. This was two days this week I overdid it with beer. I woke up this morning and feel fine but I smell like a bar. Thats nasty as hell. I'm riding the bike today and burning this nastiness out of me. And the Raiders had to lose too. Funk this. I'm supposed to take a friend of a friends daughter out this weekend. No idea who she is, or what she's about, but they're from out of town and he wants me to take her about and show her stuff. i asked what she was into and he said I dunno, whatever 19 year olds are into. 19!?!?!?!? C'mon, make her atleast 23-24 so I can not feel like a dirty ass old man if theres vibe, but now I liable to just drop her off at a mall and tell her I'll come back in a couple hours. WTF? Oh well, he's a good friend asking for a favor and he's pretty damn cool so I'm hoping his friends have the same "ish" and it'll be managable. Suggestions on what 19 year old do? All I did was smoke pot and play playstation and hackysack.

it's a sign

I was looking at a sidebar for ask Jeeves, and in the sample search field, it said Scuba dive Belize. Now if you know me and my dive buddies, Belize is on the short list of places to go diving. Again anyone wanting to learn, i'll go with you and be your dive buddy while you get certified and then you can go to exotic places with us to dive. You can be part of the junkiedom that diving makes you.

i'm out of crack....must get more

I read about 270 pages in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I finished it, and right now, I'd say that was my favorite one so far. I like it when things get dark and poor poor Cedric Diggory, he was a good wizard. Please, please help donate to Tim's Harry Potter fund as I NEEEEEED the next two books, what the hell am I going to do with myself without them?

ready for bed

I went to the dodger game straight away from work. We stayed until they won on a 2 run walk off homerun by jeff kent. And no, no barry, but i heckled none the less. Good game, but i'm exhausted. I can't be late to work tomorrow like I was today. i was a bit worried as they told me I COULD make up the time, but no way did i want to, the game was pushing it enough, but i'm beat, want a massage and sleep. i'll settle for the latter.

i guess it was a good monday

I prepped food all day, made shirts, finished cleanin, did more laundry and I'm beat. Over did it with the bbq. Drank a ton, smoked plenty ate a bunch and people had fun. I pretty much finished off and fell asleep on the worlds most uncomfortable couch and woke up at 4am thinking i had to get into bed. The bed that the sheets were still in the dryer for. So I slept on the comforter and woke up with MasterVic waking me up 10 minutes before I was to be at work. I got here late as hell. Thank god I drank a gatorade before I passed out cause i feel pretty good other than being a tad sore from the activity and the eversocomfortable couch. Now I have to make it home really quick to change and get to the Dodgers/Giants game. I'll suffer so I can heckle Barry Bonds. But yeaaaaaaaaaaah, I feel okay and theres tons of food left over to eat this week so that'll be good.

Monday, September 05, 2005

ouch what the fuck

i didn't know relaxin would make me feel this sore. Oxycontin would feel GOOOOOOOOOOOOD right about now (joy-hint, hint, nudge, nudge, knowwhatimean?), thats alright, I only gotta slice some melon, clean some berries and throw together some mac and I'm done. I've done enough to relax now. I'm even showered and shaved. Haven't shaved the facial hair for a week and a half and it was loooooooong. Now I'm just going to smoke of my herb, drink of my wine, and eat of the fruits, vegetables and sweet mammals that were put on this earth to live but found their untimely demise on our grill at the lake. Boooyahbase on yoself! come get some if you wish but expect a flooring cause some people might feel comfortable there. They know what I mean. Also expect three different flavored chickens, sweet corn, sausages, hot dogs, pineapple, watermelon, canteloupe, grapes, strawberries (and coolwhip), raspberries, garden salad, and potato salad. Hopefully oyie picks up the ice cream and cones. And all the free music one would want to rip from the computer. Only like 15-18 new albums of shag for those to snag. But up to 400+ that are available to anyone. It's file sharing the right way. eat food, enjoy drink, and take it straight off of the machine, no reason to trade over the net.

la pasta...

fawkayehole

Tomorrows friday! Thank friggin someone. This has been a hectic week, the hurricane stretches far and I'm feelin it. I get to listen to stories and they're utterly heartbreaking and the visuals are beyond shocking. I have been working my brain numb and feeling kind of powerless is more draining as you know you don't have it as bad as others. I was exhausted but happy to know that I could go home and make dinner so i did. I wish i could make more and ship it. I can donate and give what I can. But I'm tired, really tired. I don't have much more to say. I'm beat i'm peeling, and my head hurts.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh

sometimes i think computers are just like people that sometimes don't wanna talk to other people. Well now, today, it's like I'm fdr and they're hitler. I just wanna blow their freaking asses back to hell. Plus to top it all off I've had polio and can't walk over to the button to blow their asses up. can someone push me in my wheelchair?
