the hot and steamy details

Don't worry, they're coming...

It's been a nice 7 days since i last posted. Sorry about the Tom Delay. I haven't been home all that much lately between housesitting for a friend and staying at ms everythings house. I hope everyone had a good holiday and had to get to posting while I was at work as I've made it so none of the computers at home work. We went out to BFE Corona to go to an aunt and uncles house and ms everything got to meet most of the rest of the family. It was an alright time. they have large horses and some sheep and a dog friendly backyard. They made a bbq'd turkey, a fried turkey and a roasted turkey. and a million side dishes. ms everything went without a drink for a long time and then soaked up the wine like a sponge during dinner. an almost drunken drive home turned into a very pleasant evening from there.

We pretty much hung out the rest of the weekend other than going up to lovely house for a gathering thrown by miss zeal and a ton of animation heads (major studio- redacted). That was fun as that house is always super nice. We relaxed and hit santa monica promenade for some shopping as i had to get something for my former boss. Then i had to go home to see my pooch and get shunned by him.

I started the new job yesterday and it was pretty chill with not much to do yesterday other than getting the computer set up and customized to my liking. I was given a pass to not do too much. They took us out to a pretty good lunch for over two hours and just about a little of everything on the menu. i had the whitefish in a butter caper sauce with broccoli (but of course), and potatoes. Today was a bit different, i had my immediate supervisor (who kicks ass) and our next one up (who doesn't) staring over my shoulder for about 3+ hours while i ran mockups through and tweaked and tweaked til i felt like i couldn't take a single other hit of the meth being thrown at me. (meth be nasty). It's not done yet but i'm waiting for the meeting to end so I can get crunched again.

now for the hot and steamy details that you've been waiting for. Other than great sex, it is now so cold that when i walked the pooch last night it actually was hot enough to steam...

so there it is...

just don't do it

I was a bit bored last night so i decided to see what was on OnDemand. I decided to check out Bloodrayne which i found out was a prequel to the video game? It had Ben Kingsley, whom I love watching. Michael Madsen (which i sure like in tarantino movies) and the ever present Meatloaf (aka Michael Meatload Aday, aka Bob Bigtits).

The opening credits were pretty good....thats where it ended. The opening scene was odd. It showed a square of people with prostitutes, plauge victims and children alike set in some post medeivel time. Yet every single person including the plague victims had pristinely clean clothing, with no wrinkles or anything to show that they didn't come hot from wardrobe. The accents were there for some and not others, the dialog was terrible, the script was terrible, the editing was terrible, the action was terrible. Even the vampires which it barely told the story of why or how these vampires came to be, were boring and powerless, even though it was stated they can't be around "crosses" (not crucifixes; which possibly may have been the more period appropriate term)they were hangin with them freely. it was just plain bad. Ben Kingsley, when he was in it, had to do little if anything to stretch his acting muscle. In fact I think they might have drugged him cause he really did nothing other than read a couple lines. I'm thinking he got a payday and maybe 10 minutes in makeup and wardrobe just to sit and read (not act a line). The ONLY redeeming factor was NOT michelle rodriguez, but whoever the hell she's dating in the lead, Kristianna Loken who is more of a boob exposing billing candy. She had a sex scene in the movie that was not only out of place but unnecessary albeit better than most skin-emax at about 54 minutes into the movie.

Basically, if you're really bored, and it's free, just start it, fast forward it to the 54 minute mark and watch the next two minutes. Thats it, turn it off after that. the ending blew. I have no idea why it ended where and when it did. Maybe to blow more money on a sequel? Either way. just don't do it.

Australian speeders' excuse: The dead guy did it

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Hundreds of Australian drivers have come up with a way to weasel out of tickets: Blame it on a dead guy.

More than 200 motorists have avoided parking and speeding fines by accusing either a dead man or an out-of-state resident for their errors, police said Saturday.

Under New South Wales state law, if car owners sign a sworn statement that they were not driving the vehicle when an offense was committed, they can avoid paying speed camera fines that arrive by mail and parking tickets left under windshield wipers.

A recent government audit of the excuses given in those sworn statements revealed that 238 motorists had blamed one of two people: a dead man and a person living in neighboring South Australia state, Police Superintendent Daryl Donnolly said in a statement.

Police say a 53-year-old businessman from South Australia has been unfairly flooded with traffic fines. He believes the scam started after he rented a sports car in Sydney.

Some $61,000 of fines have been avoided this way in the past three years, Donnolly said. He said car owners charged with swearing false statements face up to five years' imprisonment if convicted.

This was the email my work sent out to the dept.

Teo will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing and producing design solutions for both printed and online collateral materials, and will act as the creative lead for assigned projects and initiatives. Teo will report to Mark Brothers.

ummmm, yeah okay. TONS of experience!

hell now i have to ketchup

So alot has happened. The democrats are back, albeit with no real agenda or plan. But atleast now we can put on record how ethically wrong George Dubya is. Oh and rummy is gone. I swear i think a bunch of tall munchkins in west hollywood are dancing and prancing around singing ding dong, the don-alds dead. well not dead but he can distance himself from this travesty of an administration.

K-fed and Britney broke up. I caught some entertainment tonight last night and saw some "Exclusive Video" of federleezy checking his 2 way in a restaurant while he was getting the news of his divorce. I wonder what the next thing he said was? "I'll have the water with lemon, please. No thats it for me." I'll bet he didn't even return the text in fear of running up the bill. Seriously, the guy is done. I hope just by his persona alone he never works again. He's so gangsta. And what the fuck is Mary Hart still doing on that show. She's definitely not as hot as she once was said to be. I think Leeza got out at the right time.

Ummmmmmmmm, what else? Dunno. thats the happy news as of right now. I'll get back to you when darth vader comes back and quashes the rebellion.

this makes me even happier, until the dems fuck it up

ketchup and mashed potatoes

I'm going to post pics of halloween hopefully tonight but I'll write a full review on losanjealous hopefully this week.

I accepted my new position at work after the money was right and just have to wait to transition. I understand it's odd that I jump quite a bit of money after having no experience...corporate experience that is. It's not like I haven't been designing for a long time. I have been but it's been on my terms and my design for the most part. Now I get to design somewhat sterile pieces for a corporate world. It should be good as the direction of the design has atleast gotten better. The sheer amount of work that is going to be thrown at me should justify the monetary scale. I should be aight but it's been a long time coming and i keep all my bennies where they're at.

They don't do much to cover death of a pod

or the inadvertant death that was saved by the extended warranty that you thought you were sly about purchasing. OR, the fact that you sent it in thinking it was dead and it wasn't, but now ALL the data is gone! i haven't touched my ipod in 2 weeks. it still has nothing on it. Yes I am a bit bitter.
